In the midst of difficult conditions due to the Covid-19 pandemic, PT Anugerah Pharmindo Lestari (APL) together with Zuellig Pharma launched an initiative called ZPUnited in Action.
The initiative itself is carried out to ensure the distribution of medicines and medical devices from APL can still reach the entire network of hospitals and pharmacy throughout Indonesia.
Christophe Piganiol, President Director of APL, fully supports the ZPUnited in Action which is simultaneously implemented in 13 countries that are the main markets of the Zuellig Pharma Group.
As an illustration, ZPUnited in Action is a step taken by Zuellig Pharma Group internally to be able to carry out its role in the distribution chain of medicines
And medical devices as effective as possible during the limited society movement. Amidst the Covid-19 threat which overshadowing not only Indonesia, but almost all countries in the world, the distribution process and the work procedures of APL employees could be disrupted.
For this reason, ZPUnited in Action is putting through as a joint solution. In this ZPUnited in Action, APL is involved in spreading the spirit of solidarity to all of its employees.
To ensure the distribution process can run at its best during the pandemic situation, the main role will be implemented by the warehouse and distribution team while not excluding those who work in the office as well.
Yet as we know, the conditions on the ground today are not quite easy. Especially after the implementation of the PSBB (Large-Scale Social Restrictions) by the Government of Indonesia since April 10, 2020.
As a result, several people from the field and warehouse side will find various obstacles, one of which is the difficulty in reaching the workplace due to the rare schedule of public transportation.
This condition is inevitable. Therefore, through the initiative of ZPUnited in Action, APL as the top pharmacy distributor company in Indonesia, encourage all team to participate in ZP Volunteer Action.
And this action is welcome by all the staff from any other supporting division. They give their assistance and even replacement shift to every member of on the field team who has burden during this large-scale social restriction (PSBB) period.
Yet as we know, the availability of medical devices and medicines has become more and more significant. Society is now not only shrouded by fears of exposure to Covid-19 disease but also various other diseases including dengue fever. This has resulted in a high demand for drugs to all corners of Indonesia.
In maintaining its role and commitment as well as its support for the Government of Indonesia’s program, ZPUnited in Action has been gone through since the beginning of April 2020.
According to Christophe Piganiol, only by uniting and helping each other, APL as one of the top pharmacy distributors in Indonesia can continue its distribution without constraints.
The hard work and determination from this one of the top healthcare companies in Indonesia, has become a new enthusiasm that APL wants to show to all Indonesian people. That together, we will be able to go through difficult times and defeat Covid-19.
This spirit has spread throughout the APL network in Indonesia. All employees support each other to overcome all the challenges that appears. Of course, in addition to maintaining proper distribution, APL, as one of the top pharmacy distributor companies in Indonesia, also pays attention to the health and safety of its employees. Do you have any employment issues or concerns? Then, you may want to visit HKM for information!
Apart from who work in warehouses, in the field, and volunteer, other APL employees are advised to work from home and conduct splitting team. For those who work from the office, are still required to use masks, gloves, hand sanitizers, and wash hands regularly. By maintaining hygiene and health, the process of distributing medicines and medical devices to all health networks in Indonesia can be accomplish as targeted.
